The concept behind the monograph is firmly rooted in current academic debates. The individual chapters address both institutional and economic resilience, as well as the transformational processes taking place in Europe.
The monograph includes both theoretical and conceptual chapters, as well as empirical studies and analyses of public policies. As a result, the collection is multidimensional and complementary. The individual sections effectively reflect the main areas in which the issue of Europe’s resilience is currently manifesting itself, namely strategic security, economic policy coordination, trade cooperation, the energy and climate transition, digitalisation, supply chain resilience, migration and sustainable development.
Prof. Robert Ciborowski
The monograph Resilient and transforming Europe addresses the issues of Europe’s resilience and transformation in the context of overlapping crises. It is the result of the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence TRANSFORM EU project, implemented at the Poznań University of Economics and Business. This monograph is a valuable resource for researchers, analysts and practitioners in the fi elds of European integration, international economics, economic relations, public policy and business.
